Some of the landmarks featuring on this bookmark are: Four Courts building in Dublin, Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara Dolmen, Clontuskert Abbey, The Burren.

Designer’s note: while photos used to create this design are contemporary, they are made look old by superimposing them over weathered paper texture. This gives them a lot more character than they originally had.

It is also a way to make them way more aesthetically appealing. Some of the landmarks featuring on this bookmark have been extensively used in the media.

I felt it was desirable to give them another angle and distance them from idealised postcard-like images we are used to see.
