Designer’s note
Working with such a powerful and iconic portrait made this card a privilege to create. I had seen this image of Padre Pio many times before, yet taking the time to study it closely felt like rediscovering it. His expression is layered with emotion — not only solemnity, but a deep tenderness, concern, compassion, and an almost unmistakable sense of understanding. It is this quiet strength and empathy that inspired the simplicity and reverence in the overall design.
